Here’s what we’re doing every day to do that:
– All surfaces in our facility have been sprayed with a special antimicrobial solution that kills nearly all bacteria and viruses for up to a year from the date of application. In addition to this safety measure, we sanitize counters before and after each shift.
– All employees have access to three sanitization stations.
– All employees are provided a face mask and are required to wear it properly (that means above their nose!) for the entire time that they are in the facility.
– All employees must have their temperature read at the beginning of each shift, before entering the warehouse.

While our founder, Greg, was away at college, his mother found a new hobby: sending care packages to him at the dorm. It was an expensive endeavor for her to order them from prominent care package companies, and it was a hassle, too! Not only was getting to the right dorm address difficult for these companies, but the contents of their boxes left something to be desired — after all, who wants rotten fruit? Greg always thanked his mother for these packages, but after the fruit incident, he told her he would be OK without receiving these special gift boxes anymore.
After mulling it over, Greg found a solution for care packages that make it easy for parents of college and prep school students to send what they actually want. Thus, My College Crate was born.
